What you will learn

Lead any group with confidence. This course gives you the skills to host, guide collaboration, and design interactive, participatory sessions that people actually want to be part of. Through experience-based learning including deliberate practice, hands-on application, expert feedback, and real peer exchange, you’ll elevate your facilitation craft in a practical and meaningful way. Upon graduation you’re welcome to join our mischievous community of facilitators to further connect and grow together.

IMMERSIVE 3-DAY COURSE

DAY 1
Your own facilitation style

Kicking off as one cohort, setting the tone for the journey ahead. Unlocking the full potential of your of facilitation style & setting the baseline of your practice with a baptism of fire: a mini group facilitation.


DAY 2
Prep and design

From intentions and desired outcomes to seamless flows across different spaces, we'll tackle how to design sessions that achieve tangible goals. We'll also dive into navigating and confidently handle any diverse workshop scenarios.


Day 3
Leading different groups and scenarios

Explore and understand group dynamics and learn to support teams for smoother and more enjoyable collaboration. Put your learnings into practice and receive feedback facilitating your final workshop challenge.

Who will be leading the course?

The course will be led by the Mischief Makers core team as well as other expert facilitators from the Mischief Makers Network. Like this you'll experience a diverse range of facilitation styles.

Who can sign-up?

All bright and mischievous minds may join! This course is open to all of you out there who are working (or are about to be working) in roles, which require leadership and people management. Whether you’re an educator, a project manager or team lead, and L&D manager,... if you're in positions where a group of people is looking to you for guidance or support: this one’s for you.

Can I join with my team / a group of people?

Absolutely! Joining this course with your colleague(s) will be a great asset; it can help you to reflect on facilitation within your specific context and support in implementing and introducing learnings. I need help with fees. How can I apply for a scholarship or payment plan?

Accessibility is one of our core values. We believe these skills & insights should be available to anyone who wants to learn them. To support this, we always block two scholarship spots per cohort. If you’d like to apply, simply send us a short motivational letter at hey@mischiefmakers.co. We'd love to hear:

All applications are welcome; we do prioritse applications from less privileged backgrounds or underrepresented groups.


To make the course fee more manageable, we also offer payment plans that split the total amount into smaller monthly instalments (up to four months).

Do I need any previous experience?

Not necessarily. If you're new to the game but you've got a knack for it our door is open! However, this course is for people with an aptitude and passion for facilitation so previous experience is a plus (also, as a reference point for content within the course).

The dry definition: "Facilitation is a process that trainers, team builders, meeting leaders, managers and communicators use to add content, process and structure to meet the needs of an individual, group or team. In an overall description, facilitation is used to help a group of people to achieve their goal, their reason for holding the meeting."
The Mischief definition: "Empowering."

What's the difference between the 8-week vs. the 3-day course?

Both courses cover the same core facilitation techniques, methods, and mindset.
The difference is how you learn, not what you learn.

  • The 8-week course gives you time to practise, reflect, and apply learnings in between sessions. It’s great if you want space to integrate the learning into your real work.
    It includes the full Mischief Learning Kit and a real client brief, so you can work on a live challenge from industry.

  • The 3-day course is the fast-track, immersive version. Same content, delivered in an deep-dive for those who prefer (or need) an intensive format.
    This course comes at a slightly reduced rate. It doesn’t include the Mischief Learning Kits (you can purchase them separately), and instead of a real client brief you’ll work on a crafted workshop challenge designed to stretch your skills.

What are the 'Learning Kits'?

The Mischief Learning Kits are a set of carefully curated, interactive online chapters designed to help you go deeper into the art of facilitation and grow as a practitioner. They blend created and curated content across formats – visual, written, and audio – and are crafted to be accessible whether you’re toe-dipping or deep-diving.

The full package includes 7 themed chapters packed with videos, deep-dives, practical tips, reflective prompts, and challenges that move learning from passive to hands-on. You’ll find 50+ exercises, models, and techniques, plus optional tasks and further-reading links so you can explore at your own pace. Together, they act as a dynamic companion to the course, helping you apply the tools during the programme and long after it ends.

The Learning Kits are included in the course fee of our 8-week course.
You can purchase the access to single chapters or the full package separately.
