Counting Game

Description

  • Time

    5-15 mins
  • Level

    3 (out of 5)

A focus exercise, have the team count to 10 (or as high as they can go) without interrupting each other.

Instructions

  1. Choose to do this in gallery view or with cameras off - but tell the participants they can’t ‘cheat’ by signalling or directing turn taking.

  2. You start each round by saying ‘one‘.

  3. The group should then count to 10, with a different person saying each number. If they overlap or interrupt one another it starts over again from 0.

  4. Repeat as many times as you need to get to 10 (or as high as you can).

Materials // Remarks

As the facilitator, role model calm, allow laughter but bring them back to silence and counting by kicking off each new turn by pausing and or saying ‘one’ after any mistakes.
